These terms and conditions dictate how Atech will do business with you and can only be altered temporarily on a case by case basis with the written authority of the Managing Director Allan Ashman. It is implicit when buying or renting in any and all forms from Atech or it's agents or partners that you agree in whole to these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

General Conditions of Sale

All orders are subject to our General Conditions of Sale, a copy of which is herewith or available by post or fax on request. EU regulations require Atech Ltd to declare the consignees VAT or equivalent tax number on all invoices. If the VAT number is not available at the time of despatch the full current rate of tax will be charged and is non refundable from the UK.

The right to alter prices or specifications without prior notification is reserved.

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. The company is bound contractually unless or until an order acknowledgement in writing is made which must be on the Company's Standard Conditions of Sale.

No salesperson, representative or agent is authorised to give any guarantee, warranty or make any representation contrary to the foregoing. No liability can be accepted for any consequential damage relating to any goods sold by Atech Ltd. Due to our policy of product and service improvement Atech Ltd reserves the right to change terms, conditions and specifications without prior notification.

1.Warranty Materials
All data relating to suitable uses and descriptive information concerning Atech products is compiled from research and is believed to be reliable, but is provided for guidance only. It is urged that the purchaser independently determine the suitability of the product for their purposes. In respect of faulty goods Atech will be liable for no more than the replacement cost of the goods provided by us and reserve the right to approach the manufactures of the goods for their judgement and arbitration.

 2.Delivery Charges Consumables - UK
All orders for mounting & laminating films, inkjet media with a net invoice value of £150.00 or over will be delivered Free of Charge. Carriage will be charged at £15.00 on invoices below £150.00 in value. Carriage will be charged on orders which consist of items with a net. Weight over 30kg. or packed dimensions  which cannot be handled on our normal parcel carriers. Carriage is also charged for express transport or other requested carrier services.

 3.Discrepancies
Any discrepancy relating to pricing or quantities advised or delivered must be notified within 7 days of receipt of goods.

 4.Returned Goods
All goods are non-returnable except for defects in manufacturing. All claims must be made within 7 days after receipt of goods. No returns will be accepted without prior authorisation from Atech Ltd. The Customer Service Department will issue a 'returns' number on request. Goods must then be returned within 14 days with the relevant 'CE' number clearly displayed on the packaging.

 Any items returned for reasons other than material faults will be returned at the customers cost and subject to a restocking charge of 15% of the invoice value to cover the practical costs of servicing the order. Any such goods can only be credited if returned in a suitable condition for resale.

 5.Payment Terms UK Consumables
Goods invoiced on credit accounts up to and including the last day of a calendar month shall be paid for not later than the last business day of the following month. If terms of payment are not complied with, the Seller shall have the right to charge interest at the rate of 1% over The Bank of England base rate for every month or part of a month between the due date of payment and final settlement.

5a UK Machines
Payment terms must be agreed on all equipment orders before the order can be accepted. Unless otherwise agreed all equipment orders will require a minimum deposit of 1/3 of the value inc. VAT  before the order can be accepted.

In the event of non payment Atech reserve the right to enter the customers premises with 48 hours notice and to remove or otherwise make unavailable for use the equipment as detailed. Should this equipment then need to be resold by Atech to recover the outstanding amount the original customer will be liable for the difference between the original purchase price and the achieve price on subsequent sale subject also to sections 4 and 5 of this document.

5b Machines
All machines sold within the UK are subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty. Second hand and refurbished machines will only be warranted at the discretion of Atech Ltd. Atech reserve the right to involved the manufacturer in any warranty claim for their advice and opinions

 6. Retention of Title
All goods remain the property of Atech Ltd until paid for in full. The Seller and the Buyer expressly agree that until the Seller has been paid in full (including any interest charged) for any goods supplied by the Seller to the Buyer, the Seller remains the legal owner of the goods.
